The Afro Punk festival may only be 7 years old (it should be in 2nd grade but who knows what is going on…) but it has expanded to a level where it will probably outgrow or take over Brooklyn. By the time the festivals headliners ‘TV on The Radio‘ took the stage it was reported that more than 30,000 people were in attendance. It was an incredible festival marked with some memorable performances. I had the honor to cover the event for Jay-Z’s/S. Carter Entertainment Life&Times website and was blown away with each performance that past. Enjoy the visuals from the performances.

One night across a bridge….
Last week we experienced an incredibly warm day in March that many a New Yorker enjoyed anticipating spring time, I was one of those folks. I am also one of those New Yorkers who skips many of the great NYC attractions (I have never been to the top of Rockefeller Center or The Empire State building, yes shame shame shame on me). So I decided to take a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge of course with my camera in tow. It was such an incredible night and has me actually anticipating the Spring time (for those who don’t know I am a HUGE fan of the Fall colors and the Winter cool).
